Ready to celebrate Halloween? Already, decorated the house with scary props and prepared some spine-chilling stories?
Halloween is associated not only with scary movies or horrifying ghost stories. It is also with delicious treats that are loved by all ages. Aside from traditional Halloween foods, Halloween treats are also considered to be a MUST-HAVE-HALLOWEEN-FOOD. Treats should be present on Trick and Treat day.
Want some ideas to spice up your table with cute but easy-to-make Halloween treats? Here are some Halloween-inspired desserts that will surely give your table a spooky factor!
PPOPGI AND SQUID GAME INSPIRED DESSERT

Based on the hit Korean series, Squid Game. This treat is called Ppogi (which means ‘to pick’), a traditional street snack in Korea. To make the Ppogi, caramelize the sugar, add the baking soda, press the mixture on a flat surface, and use the cookie cutter to make the shape.
Keep the kids entertained by playing a game, using a needle to make them trace around the shape without cracking the shape itself. Imitate like how the participants in Squid Game did.
To join the Squid Game hype, a restaurant named Glassglow created a Korean-inspired Dalgona candy honeycomb toffee pancake stack. Just by the looks of it, surely it would be a mind-blowing treat.
JACK-O’-LANTERN SANDWICH COOKIES
Of course, Halloween wouldn’t be complete without the presence of the deep yellow or orange round winter squash, PUMPKINS! Instead of using real pumpkins, how about recreating pumpkins into cute and delicious cookies?

CEMETERY COOKIE JAR

Prepare a large bowl or a clear glass cookie jar. Fill it up with chocolate cake crumbs that will serve as the soil. Tombstones are sugar cookies and inscribed with icing, the color of your choice. You can make your white-chocolate bones by purchasing a ‘Silicone Skeleton Bone Mold Ice Cube Tray’. Finish the graveyard-inspired cookie jar with a sign that reads ‘Cemetery’ or ‘Graveyard’. Just fill the glass jar with any treats that you can think of and decorate it as much as you want!
GHOST PRETZELS

At one sight, you know that it is easy to make. Microwave 1tsp coconut oil and white candy melt in 20 seconds. When the mixture is melted and smooth, dip the pretzels in the candy melts, shake off the excess. Wait until it firms and draw the ghost faces with edible black markers.
GHOST CUPCAKES

These cute ghosts were made up of white ready-made fondant and lollies. Using a circle cookie cutter, cut circles. Place the circle on top of the lollipop. Then, use black decorating gel to make the eyes. Put the ghosts in the middle of the cupcake. Look how the ghosts were like floating!
Make the best out of Halloween! Indeed, Halloween wouldn’t be complete without treats. Treats that not only satisfy our stomachs but our eyes too.
